To establish a society in which all the targeted participants such as men, women and children including disable and minorities will enjoy the rights and dignity, exist democratic environment with good governance, remain free from all forms of discrimination as well as they be able to receive all available facilities necessary for the livelihood such as health, education, income and employment generation and enjoy an equitable and secured environment.
To promote skill, capacity, human values and consciousness level of the poor and destitute target people, especially the woman, Youth and the children, and to ensure environment friendly and sustainable development for them.
ASNA is a voluntary development organization working for poverty alleviation and sustainable social development. The organization is involved in raising awareness, capacity building and infrastructure development of local government, climate change and disaster risk reduction, transfer of modern agriculture technology, education and training, gender equality and women empowerment, maternity child health and nutrition, improving livelihoods, and organizational capacity building through integrated approaches.
The down to earth management committee, dynamic leadership, skilled and committed person power are contributing to institutional capacity building and community need-based development. The continuous practice of learning-sharing culture and values helps effective program implementation, determining future strategies combating with local and global challenges.
To establish poverty and exploitation free society through strengthening grass-root level organizational capacity, achieve resilience capacity combating with climate change and disaster risk reduction, addressing fundamental demand, women empowerment and socio-economic development. To improve the livelihood security of the poor and hard core poor men, women and children irrespective of caste, creed ethnicity and culture through undertaking community driven, need based and diversified development program initiatives.
The objectives of ASNA has been set considering its vision, mission, goal and other cross cutting issues like gender, disaster, Education, woman empowerment and climate change. These objectives also link SDGs, and national pectoral objectives and agendas. The objectives are as follows:
i. To reduce vulnerability through disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation.
ii. To increase literacy and awareness in society through Early Child Care Development and Non-Formal Primary Education.
iii. To reduce gender discrimination and domestic violence through mass campaign and social mobilization.
iv. To reduce food insecurity and economic empowerment through echo-friendly agriculture, livestock and other off farm activities.
v. To improve health and hygiene status through primary health care, water and sanitation.
vi. To develop human resources both at community and organization level through capacity building and live skills training.
vii. To strengthen governance at all level by people’s participation, as well as increase access to justice and local resources.
viii. To increase income and employment opportunity through providing capital and technical assistance.
ix. To develop institutions by increasing capacity of groups, CBOs, federations, alliance as well as organizations.
x. To make the target people self-reliant in all needs and necessities of human life through various efforts and activities.
xi. To improve economic conditions of target people through employment and income generating activities.
xii. To ensure health conditions of target population by providing health and sanitation education and disease treatment services.
xiii. To create human and social values in target population through awareness raising education and motivation.
xiv. To build up capacity of the target population to identify and analyses different socio-economic issues and problems concerning them and how to solve those.
xv. To develop the environment through social forestry and nursery program.
I. Capacity building at all levels of community people combating with climate change effect & disaster management.
II. Ensure child rights & increase literacy rate under total literacy movement and enhancing quality education services in operation area.
III. Undertake need-based Community Health and Family Planning Programme for underpriviliged men-women of charlands to ensure their sound mental and physical health.
IV. Reduce social discrimination through capacity building of men and women, women leadership development and their empowerment.
V. Providing Credit support for developing a selfreliant society to ensure income generation and self-employument.
VI. Access to basic services and established rights of poor and marginalized community through good governance, advocacy and networking to ensure maximum utilization of local resources.
VII. Grass-root level organization development and institutional capacity building of ASNA.
